We reinvent the wheel.

The Rigid-Origami-Transformer or for short R.O.T. is a vehicle, designed for operating in remote areas without human assistance. This is possible due to its high mobility and ability to adapt to its enviroment to certain extend.

The wheels of the R.O.T. are made of the waterbomb origami pattern and the primary goal of our project is analyzing different materials in order to show the possibilties of useable materials as well as giving an example of the use of origami patterns in the field of mechatronics.
